Hampshire Area Awards

Find out about the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Area awards

First launched at our 2023 area Annual Meeting, these awards are designed for our members, to recognise progress and development in carriage driving at a local level.

Below are details of the awards that members can work towards each year.

Personal Achievement

This award is for members who have achieved significant personal milestones during the year. This does not necessarily mean winning rosettes but aims to recognise any of our members who have made progress during the year that might not otherwise be recognised through conventional methods.

Applications/nominations must be submitted by the end of October for review by the Committee. Download a nomination/application form HERE

Miles Builder

This will be awarded to the member who has covered the most miles between AGMs (November to November).

Keep track of your miles and submit these for consideration prior to the AGM for consideration.

Young Driver

We are keen to support and celebrate young entrants to the sport and lifestyle that is carriage driving. If you are 17 or younger, keep a record of all driving related events you have taken part in (from pleasure drives to competitions to training) and submit these for consideration prior to the AGM.

Novice Driver

We are keen to support and celebrate new entrants to the sport and lifestyle that is carriage driving. If you new to carriage driving, keep a record of all driving related events you have taken part in (from pleasure drives to competitions to training) and submit these and when you started driving for consideration prior to the AGM.
