Attelage de Tradition
13 April 2024
7:30 pm
Evening presentation by Rosemary Neale, for members and non members.
The attelage competition is designed to promote the use of pre-1945 design traditional style carriages, both private and trade, and to reflect the skills and heritage of the driving of harness horses and ponies.
The Event includes classes for singles, pairs, tandems, multiples and 4-in-hand in a traditionally built carriage. These events are found in 14 countries across the world in over 72 locations.
As we are holding our own attelage in the south this year at the New Forest Showground on 14th and 15th September, Rosemary Neale has very kindly offered to come down and explain how the event works, the different stages, what is expected of you and how you can get involved so please do come and join us and find out about the wonderful world of traditional carriage driving.
