CARRIAGE DRIVING - WHAT TO DO WHEN THINGS GO WRONG? - 🌟ISLE OF WIGHT🌟
Come and join us for a talk by Samantha Searle and Modris Kesans (BDS Training & Education) on what to do when things go wrong.
Saturday 15th March 2025
The Chequers Inn, Niton Road, Rookley, Ventnor, PO38 3NZ, Isle of Wight.
Talk to start at 8.30pm.
Please arrive at 7.00pm and we can eat first. We’d like to combine this as a social event for anyone on the island who is interested in carriage driving.
We all hope it will never happen, but would you or your groom know what to do in the event of an accident or incident?
Carriage driving is a very enjoyable and rewarding discipline. However things can go wrong, and there are some real dangers involved, so it’s very important to understand and know what to do in an emergency.
This talk is not to frighten you, it is to make you aware of what can happen and fully prepare you for if and when it does. We are here to help you, so that if you ever find yourself in a situation, you will know how to deal with it, keeping yourself, your groom and your pony safe.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions.
£10 per person.
Open to BDS members and non members.
BDS Members can access a 15% discount with Red Funnel - for login details to access the account, contact Tricia (hants.bds.row@gmail.com)
Please book in with Sam Searle (ring 07883 538591) so that we have an idea of numbers beforehand.
