Spider drive to Spider Drive To Deerhurst Cottage, Bank

We have had a message from Georgina Burrows to say that on Monday of this week (15th September) FE have put up signs to say that the track from blackwater carpark to Bank will be closed for approximately one week from the 15th September.

There is nothing online on the forestry operational section of upcoming or present works, and FE have not contacted us to say anything about it, even though they are aware we are driving in that area as we have to obtain a permit for every drive we hold on the forest.

Hopefully the track will be open as signs say approximately 1 week.

Georgina has recommended that to get to them drivers will have to come up via Bolderford bridge if the black water/bank track is not open.

Sarah Simmons has emailed everyone who is booked onto the drive.
